Pawn Grabber

This game I played on Chess.com is an example of why grabbing pawns is a good idea. When we got to the end game, he was way out of material to work with, which he had sacrificed for a better position. He played to the end because he was hoping for a stalemate. Not today! Chess.com gave me a  93.7% accuracy rate which is not bad. I have a good one in me every now and then.

My shopping cart never looked so good

After years of living off of fast food, it was good to be stocking up for the week with fresh meats, fruits, and vegetables. I know I can get rid of the white bread but practice does make perfect. I did make a delicious salad. Nothing wrong with that.

Investigating a Bigfoot sighting

Is is wrong to investigate another organizations work? When its in your backyard its not and when its an org of no credibility. That is why we were off of sr 301 checking out the white Sasquatch sighting report put up by the BFRO. It did not sound believable to me or to Kevin so he an Jason set out for the Dead River complex to see if they could find a way to get to Two Branch Creek. They found a way back into it and which actually lead under the state road. We concluded, based on what we found, that a survey crew had recently been working back there and the ground was way to unstable to support our weight or the weight of a Sasquatch. You can check out the video below.

Swimming on my down time

Now that I am not working, I have lots of down time. There is no reason to stay in the crib and watch TV or poorly made Bigfoot videos when I have a beautiful swimming pool down the lane. The weather has been fantastic and the water is warming up.still a little cool. Swimming is fun and its great exercise. It is non weight bearing which makes it easy on the joints. That is important when you are getting older and are still a little heavy. Anyway, its just fun. Check it out.

RETIRED..what did you expect?

I have retired from taxi driving for good. I turned the keys in and walked away from 24 years on the streets. In a way, like Ronald Reagan said, the taxi business walked away from me. Anyway, I am home and doing nothing but getting caught up on a bunch of personal stuff. I am loving it. Check out this video about how I spend most mornings now. I have applied to work for Lyft and was approved, of course. I should be getting a new car next week and will be driving for them. Ride share has become the new taxi companies and they deliver what I am looking for. I have two monthly checks coming in which are enough to live off of. So don't worry about me. Its just that I was not exactly ready to retire but the circumstances gave me no choice. It does feel good, by the way.
